Everything you need to know about our formulas, how to use them, and what to expect.

 General

Are Ng's TCM formulas backed by science?

Every formula pairs clinically studied botanicals with time-honored Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs. We don't just follow tradition for its own sake — we choose ingredients that have both centuries of use and modern research behind them, so you get formulas that are as rigorous as they are rooted.

How do I know it will actually work for me?

Most people notice a difference within the first 2–4 weeks of consistent use, though herbal medicine works gradually and builds over time. TCM formulas are designed to support your body's own systems rather than mask symptoms, so give it a full cycle and track how you feel.

How is TCM different from a regular supplement?

Western supplements usually isolate a single nutrient. TCM formulas combine herbs in specific ratios so they work together synergistically — supporting the root of an imbalance, not just the surface. That's the difference between treating a symptom and supporting whole-body balance.

Can I take these alongside my current medications?

Generally yes, but timing matters. We recommend spacing your herbs at least 2 hours apart from prescriptions and checking with your doctor or a licensed TCM practitioner — especially if you're on blood thinners, thyroid meds, or hormone therapy.

What if it doesn't work for me?

You're covered by our happiness guarantee. If you don't feel a difference, reach out within the guarantee window and we'll make it right — no hoops, no hassle.

 How to Use

When should I take my herbs?

Take your capsules with a small amount of warm water, ideally 15–30 minutes before meals, so your body absorbs them on a settled stomach. If they ever feel strong, take them with food instead — consistency matters far more than perfect timing.

How long until I notice a difference?

TCM works with your body, so results build gradually. Give it 2–4 weeks of consistent daily use for the herbs to take effect, and a full 8–12 weeks to feel the deeper shifts. Missing a day is fine — just pick back up.

Can I take too much of the herbs?

You can't really "overdose" in a dangerous way, but more isn't automatically better. Stick to the recommended dose on the label — doubling up won't speed things along and can cause mild digestive upset in sensitive people.

What if I miss a day — or a few?

No stress. Just resume your normal dose the next day. Don't double up to "catch up." Herbal support is cumulative, so the goal is steady, not perfect.

Should I take them at the same time every day?

Yes — routine helps. Anchoring your dose to a daily habit (morning coffee, brushing your teeth, dinner prep) makes it easier to remember and keeps levels steady in your system for the best results.
